The New York Tri-State Chapter of IHRIM (International Association for
Human Resource Information Management) is your link to the unique
world of HR information management, systems issues, trends, and
technology.
IHRIM is the leading professional organization meeting the diverse
needs of individuals interested in advancing the management of human
resource information in support of organizational objective. The New
York Tri-State Chapter promotes professional growth through educational
programs and provides opportunities for New York members to share
experiences, ideas and solutions that will help them add value to
the companies through information technology and management.
The membership of the New York Tri-State Chapter is made up of HRIS, HR and IT
professionals in NY, Southern Connecticut and Northern New Jersey
who want to learn how to use technology to enhance the management of
human resources. We accomplish this through formal education,
informal information sharing and networking.
At the Association level, IHRIM offers excellent educational
opportunities through face-to-face conferences and seminars,
publications, the website and list servers. Additionally, services
are provided through “SIGs” – Special Interest Groups – such as
Global and Security/Privacy.
The NY Chapter is currently one of 21 chapters providing another
level of service. Through chapter programs and informal networking
among members, we enhance the educational opportunities for HR/IT
professionals throughout the tri-state area.
